The main thing I notice in the dialog between Pieter Valk and Fr Matt Kennedy was that there was a core disagreement on concupiscence. Valk was not reading his own spiritual formation in a Calvinist way, and Fr Kennedy was reading Valk's advocacy as a contradiction of a Calvinist theology, especially a particular reading of the 39 Articles.
